LCSW, RPT-S
Director
LESLIE RICE
I have almost 30 years experience working with, children, adolescents and adults. I love all the different age groups for a myriad of reasons, as they each bring unique perspectives and life experiences to our work together.
I believe therapy is about relationship, connection and meeting someone where they are. It is truly a privilege to be a part of my clients journeys, wherever they may lead.
I believe healing is able to happen when someone finds a safe place to show up and be seen as they are in that moment. I want Tapestries to be that safe place for anyone who walks through our doors.

LPC/MHSP
JEANNIE INGRAM
I have the best job in the world: helping couples heal their relationship and restore their connection. One of the most profound rewards of the weekend workshop, as well as couples therapy, is watching the transformation from the power struggle to intentionality and true partnership in which couples can both freely give and receive love.
I am dedicated to helping couples and individuals find growth, healing, joy, meaning, purpose and connection in their lives.

ANITA HAUENSTEIN
My wish is to create safe space to help you feel comfortable and fully supported in the work that you would like to do. I enjoy assisting with transitions through all kinds of life circumstances - grief and loss, relationship issues, career changes and soul questions or crises, to name a few. I welcome working with you to help you release what is not working in your life and to help you make room for the "new" -- for transformation, deep peace and, most of all, for joy.
I work with individuals (adults) and am comfortable using traditional clinical methods including supportive psychotherapy, EMDR and Brainspotting. I am also trained in energy healing modalities, which I am happy to discuss with you.

Integrative Existential Counselor, Coach
KIMBERLY DILLARD
You are a unique and precious individual, and it would be my privilege to help you develop insight and coping mechanisms that enable you to live a life of more peace, meaning, and purpose. I am an integrative existential counselor anchored at the intersection of science and spirituality. I incorporate a variety of healing modalities into my practice including CBT, DBT, mindfulness practices, as well as expressive arts, narrative, and somatic therapies. Currently I am pre-licensed in the state of TN and a PhD intern researching how spiritual, somatic and expressive arts practices can help people heal from trauma and other challenges. I worked for over ten years in Northern VA as a mental health therapist serving youth, couples, and families and then earned a master’s in divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School.

LPC-MHSP (temp)
Lexie Vasilikos Taylor
My personal goal as your counselor is to help you see yourself as the expert in your own life, and empower you to become the person you were created to be. I want to help you understand what thought/behavior patterns you have generated over your lifespan to help you survive that are no longer serving you. I hope to help you discover your own set of values, so that you can make choices in life that are in alignment with your core self.

I do not believe there is a one size fits all approach to counseling, which is why I pull from a variety of modalities. My most common practices include cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and existentialism.

I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am practicing under the supervision of Joy Samuels, TN LPC-MHSP #2364

LPC/MHSP, NCC
Katherine Smith
Hi, I’m Katherine! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Services Provider (LPC/MHSP). I’m also a mother, a sober individual, and a yoga enthusiast. I’m trained in EMDR, one of the most effective therapies for trauma and PTSD.
Before private practice, I worked in various counseling settings, gaining experience with different age groups and populations, with extensive experience with adolescents and neurodivergence. My passion lies in helping women navigate sobriety, motherhood, and the many challenges of these roles. In my own recovery, once I had a solid foundation in sobriety, I was ready to address developmental trauma, attachment wounds, and relationship patterns that held me back from living the life I wanted. If this resonates with your journey, I’d love to support you in your healing process.
I start my work with every individual from a strengths-based place, recognizing all the wonderful and resilient things about you that you are already doing so well. I truly believe that safety and trust are the bedrock of a fruitful therapeutic relationship. I also place a high value on bringing our bodies into the conversation and prioritizing healing ourselves physically as well as learning how to listen to and trust our bodies again.
