About the event
We have all heard the saying “You are what you eat”. That is true for not only our physical health, but our mental and emotional health as well.
Phyllis Spahn, MS, LPC, NBCC, will review basic, easy to manage nutrition tips to help your thinking be at its best. Whether your goal is to maintain, lose, or gain weight, nutrition factors are an important consideration for your overall health.
Your registration includes your reserved seat and a box lunch from Panera.
Phyllis holds a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee and Georgia, a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors, and a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors. She also has extensive background in Nutrition Science, being a Registered & Licensed Dietitian for 40 plus years.
Phyllis feels it is a sacred privilege to hear the stories of people as she walks along side them in their journey of seeking healing and wholeness. She enjoys providing counseling, life-coaching and spiritual direction from a Biblical Worldview. She is married to her husband of 47 years, has raised four daughters, and is thrilled to be “KK” to seven grandchildren, soon to be eight! In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys being outdoors, hiking, biking, walking, playing pickle ball and being in touch with nature.
